When I miss my Dad.

I carry my touchstone with me all the time. When I miss my Dad, which happens a lot, I reach into my purse and hold my touchstone. When I feel sick, or I am hurting physically, I hold my touchstone and I remember that my experience as a human is not something I am experiencing alone. It's good to help get "out of your head" - sometimes when we let our minds mess with us, a touchstone is a reminder that I need to be present and not thinking about the past or the future, both of which I have no control over. I could go on for days about how much I love the touchstones, but I will end by saying I have passed out a few and Arizona is representing touchstones! Love you Daddy.
