Part of connecting is the practice of giving and receiving. Joe has made it possible for you to receive a TouchStone by visiting one of two sites (so far) where there is a store of them and people will know what you are asking for. You may pick one* or be given one depending on the situation.

Feeling connected, in general, is calming and restorative. Some people keep Touchstones in their pocket or purse where they can easily touch or hold them as a reminder. Others keep touchstones on their desk at work or on a table in their home as seeing them can also be calming and, of course, they are beautiful especially in the light. Or you may give yours to someone who you sense would appreciate one and to whom you want to be more connected with. You can always get another one.
This is a very effective way for TouchStones to make their way into the hands of people and to hear Joe's story. Presently he is only able to engage with groups in the Portland, Oregon area.
You are supporting my work creating TouchStones which involves art glass, manual labor in cutting the glass and managing the "firing" process. All TouchStones are donated by me and there is no charge unless you buy in quantity. Quanity purchases for groups, events such as weddings, and gifts is negotiated based on quantity and delivery requirements. Donations are not tax deductible as I am an artist, not a business.
