How do I get a TouchStone?

Part of connecting is the practice of giving and receiving. Joe has made it possible for you to receive a TouchStone by visiting one of two sites (so far) where there is a store of them and people will know what you are asking for.  You may pick one* or be given one depending on the situation.

Is each TouchStone unique?

Yes! as we all are. They are made in Joe's Portland glass studio. In time, there will be more on this Website about how they are made and why Joe began to make them.

What do I do with my TouchStone?

Feeling connected, in general, is calming and restorative. Some people keep Touchstones in their pocket or purse where they can easily touch or hold them as a reminder.  Others keep touchstones on their desk at work or on a table in their home as seeing them can also be calming and, of course, they are beautiful especially in the light. Or you may give yours to someone who you sense would appreciate one and to whom you want to be more connected with. You can always get another one.

How do I arrange for a group of people to receive TouchStones?

This is a very effective way for TouchStones to make their way into the hands of people and to hear Joe's story. Please email Joe at jebcoe90@me.com with the group you believe would like to receive TouchStones and he will contact you for more details. Presently he is only able to engage with groups in the Portland, Oregon area.

Why donate?

You are supporting my work creating TouchStones which involves art glass, manual labor in cutting the glass and managing the "firing" process. All TouchStones are donated by me and there is no charge unless you buy in quantity.  Quanity purchases for groups, events such as weddings, and gifts is negotiated based on quantity and delivery requirements. Donations are not tax deductible as I am an artist, not a business.
